Overview
One cookie. No tracking. That's the whole policy.
FWKV is a set of static pages served from GitHub Pages. There is no application server, no database, no account system, and no server-side logging. Because of that, the site has no reason to use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies — and it doesn't.
The only thing this site ever writes is a single functional cookie that records the answer you give to the consent banner — and it is stored locally in your browser. We don't have a server to store it on, so it never leaves your device and we never see it. It just stops the banner from asking the same question on every page load. That's it.
What we don't do
No tracking, no fingerprinting, no surprises.
- No tracking cookies — nothing follows you across sites, and no advertising ID is ever created.
- No analytics scripts — we don't measure page views, clicks, or scroll depth with any cookie or script.
- No third-party cookies — external resources we load (fonts, model files, code CDNs) are not permitted to drop tracking cookies through this site, and we run none of our own.
- No fingerprinting — we don't build profiles, hashes, or any other identifier from your device or browser.
- No reading your other cookies — our consent script only ever reads its own
fwkv_cookie_consententry.
In plain terms: choosing "Fuck no" costs you nothing, because we collect nothing either way. The banner exists because we'd rather be transparent than quietly set things.
Your choice
What "Yes" and "Fuck no" actually mean.
-
"Yes" — we store a
fwkv_cookie_consent=yescookie (plus the local-storage mirror) for one year. No additional cookies are created and no data is sent to us. All it does is stop the banner from reappearing. -
"Fuck no" — we store a
fwkv_cookie_consent=nocookie for one year so we stop asking. We do not set any other cookie, and the site works exactly the same. - No answer — if you ignore or dismiss the banner, no cookie is stored at all; you'll simply be asked again next time.
Changing your mind
Consent can be withdrawn any time.
Deleting the cookie is instant and harmless. If you clear it, the consent banner will simply ask you again on your next visit.
- Remove the entry — delete the
fwkv_cookie_consentcookie and the same-named local-storage key. Use your browser's cookie / site-data manager or the shortcuts below. - Or clear everything for this site — in most browsers, the site-data or "clear cookies for this site" option removes both at once.
- Or disable cookies entirely — the site remains fully functional; you'll just see the banner on each visit.
For the technical: on Chrome / Edge / Brave it's the padlock in the address bar → Cookies and site data → delete. On Firefox it's the padlock → Clear cookies and site data. On Safari it's Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
Third parties
Hosting, fonts, and model files only.
This site is hosted on GitHub Pages and loads web fonts from Google Fonts; FWKV model files are distributed through Hugging Face. Those providers may have their own privacy and cookie practices that are outside our control, but we do not use them to track you, and none of them ever receives your consent choice — it lives only in your browser.
Changes
This policy may be updated.
If this ever changes — for example, if a future feature genuinely needs a second cookie — this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top, before any such change takes effect. For anything else about how we handle personal data, see the Privacy Policy.
