We collect zero user data. That's the whole policy.

FWKV does not operate a backend server for this site or the chat demo, and does not store, log, or process any personal data. Everything runs client-side, in your browser, on your own machine. There is no database, no analytics, no account system, and no server-side logging of your activity.

Because no personal data is collected, processed, or stored by us, regulations like the GDPR — which govern how collected data must be handled — simply don't apply to our use of this site: there is nothing on our end to protect, retain, or disclose.

Data we collect

None.

• No server logs — we don't run a backend, so there's no IP address, user agent, or request logging on our end.
• No chat storage — if the chat demo runs client-side or via a third-party inference endpoint, your messages are not stored, logged, or used to train any model by us.
• No accounts — there is no sign-up, no login, and no personal profiles of any kind.
• No trackers or analytics — we don't run ad networks, cookies, or analytics scripts.

How that's possible

No server, no collection.

This site is static and served as plain files. Where a model needs to run (e.g. the chat demo), inference happens either directly in your browser or via a stateless call to a third-party host, without FWKV operating any infrastructure in between that would see or retain your data. With nothing collected, there's nothing to secure, retain, or accidentally leak.

Third parties

Hosting and infrastructure only.

This site is hosted on GitHub Pages; FWKV model files are distributed through Hugging Face, which has its own privacy policy governing infrastructure it provides. If you interact with the chat demo, review Hugging Face's policy for details on how they handle data on their platform, since that layer is outside our control.

Your choices

Nothing to opt out of.

• Nothing to delete — since we never store your data, there's no data to request or delete on our end.
• Use the open weights directly — every FWKV model is open source, so you can run inference entirely offline on your own hardware.
• Contact us if you have any questions about how this site or demo works.

Changes

This policy may be updated.

If that ever changes — for example, if a future feature requires collecting data — this page will be updated first, with a new date at the top, before any such change takes effect.
